LINCOLN wasn't even done revealing its redesigned 2013 LINCOLN MKT and 2013 LINCOLN MKS when they revealed the fact that they have another big debut in the coming months. That's right, our favorite luxury automaker is planning big for the 2012 North American International Auto Show, and they let us in on the secret by giving us a glimpse of what's in store ahead of time.

When LINCOLN Design Director, Max Wolff was speaking on the two redesigned LINCOLN models, a screen in back of him showed a vastly different front-end grille for a brief moment. He then went on to hint at the fact that LINCOLN has a big announcement to make at the North American International Auto Show in January.

The grille in question wasn't iconic 'waterfall grille' that is currently in use in the new LINCOLN lineup, nor was it the one featured on the newly designed 2013 models. Rather, this one didn't even feature the same vertical lines! In a bold move, LINCOLN turned the lines, making them horizontal, while also splitting the grille more distinctly by featuring the LINCOLN crest in the center more prominently.

If LINCOLN has piqued your interested than they've succeeded in their effort to find new and interesting ways to hint at revels. Prior to the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, they hinted at the LINCOLN MKS and LINCOLN MKT redesigns by snapping a few pictures of the new 'waterfall grille' and posting it to the company's Facebook page. This caught the attention of those who 'like' the brand pretty quickly, and this new move is stirring up just as much excitement.

Of course, there's still the question of which model will be shown off? Right now, the current theory is that it will be a redesigned version of the LINCOLN MKZ.
