"Engineers say [Mustang] will just top 200 mph, but will be street legal -- and tame enough in traffic to be your daily driver, as well as weekend racer. The current Shelby GT500 is electronically limited to 155 mph. The new one is not limited."¹

We were a little concerned if the average driver will be able to handle the GT500's power. But, one of the American automaker's engineers told us that: "Years ago, that may have been a concern." "But now with all the technology in these cars ... they are extremely safe to drive."²

The forthcoming Shelby Mustang will see some revitalization, including a completely redesigned front end consisting of an updated hood and lighting with high-intensity headlights. All powertrain options will be matted to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual mode, accessible via button on the Mustang's shifter.
